Salah Extends Apology to Squad, Discloses Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has revealed that Mohamed Salah said sorry to the group of players in the wake of the fallout from his public comments.

Salah was left out from a vital match after criticising the club and claiming his relationship with manager had deteriorated.
“He speaks for himself and he can say his own stuff,” Jones told Sky Sports. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘If I’ve affected anybody, please accept my apology.’”
The manager has chosen not to disclose on whether he was apologised to from the player.
Team Unity
Jones insisted that the dressing room atmosphere was unchanged. “He was the exact same Mo, his demeanour was positive and we all treated him normally,” he continued.
He also suggested that a teammate fighting for a place is a positive trait. “It's clear there are specific approaches you can express yourself,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just sit out, then I think that’s concerning.”
On-Field Response
Their results have stayed unbeaten in the games following the situation. Jones believes the outburst were not designed to harm the team.
“In moments of frustration, it’s always been from a place of caring,” the midfielder stated. “That chapter is closed and we’re uniting strongly, getting results and starting to win games.”
