The young golfer will have numerous high-profile backers when she begins her LPGA debut this Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who happens to be connected to a former US president, was granted a tournament invitation to play at the Annika competition in Florida.
Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, operates multiple golf courses and frequently competes against his granddaughter.
"He's fairly competent. I shouldn't elaborate but we have some close matches," she mentioned.
She mentioned that Trump, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Just don't get nervous."
"My grandpa practically advised me to play and have fun," she added.
"In my eyes, he's simply an ordinary family member. He won't be there this weekend. He's busy with presidential duties, making him somewhat preoccupied."
As an amateur, the golfer has played in only three events this year and holds ranking 461 in AJGA listings.
But she can get advice from Tiger Woods, in a relationship with Vanessa.
"He stands as the greatest golfer in the world," Kai expressed.
"Additionally, he's a superior individual. He told me to go out there, have fun, adapting to the flow."
Kai will face several the biggest names in professional golf at the Annika, such as world number two the champion, England's Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
Tournament organizers mentioned that involving Kai helps introduce golf to new audiences, particularly among the next generation.
The social media influencer has millions of followers and recently launched a personal fashion and living label.
Her first tee time at late afternoon GMT.
