This event resulted in the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the multi-storey parking facility.

Two individuals are now facing charges related to a luggage theft where a suspected irritant spray resulted in harm at the major London air hub.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, have both been charged with two robbery charges and charges for administering a noxious substance, according to official statements.

This legal action stems from an probe of an assault at the parking structure at Heathrow's Terminal Three on the weekend. Before the assault occurred, two female travelers had their suitcases stolen after getting out of a car park lift, authorities reported.

A toddler was among those injured in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to a medical facility and were later discharged.

The incident – which authorities stated was isolated and not considered a terror-related act – led to disruptions to rail services and the partial closure of the main airport road tunnel and the T3 parking area for a short time.
